Handy Man Gee Or (Noodle)

Lacy and I have decided to FINALLY sell our rental property in Enid, ok. This house is 2200 sq feet with 3 beds, 2 bath, 2 living, 2 car garage (if you want to buy it). I have spent a ton of money on replacing the electric system, and so a couple nights ago a buddy of mine and I went and replaced all the recessed light fixtures with new fixtures and painted. It was a mess and I pray this thing sells very soon. So the moral of this blog is if you have a prayer list of items you pray for daily please add the sale of this home to your list.

Hi Chris..
I was searching out new blogs to read and I came upon yours. I am struggling with the idea of getting involved in a church. I haven't picked one yet. I tell you this so you know I'm questioning a lot and not trying to be rude but I have to ask...is selling a house really prayer material? Isn't famine and illness and war what we need to pray about? Doesn't God have his hands full without being asked to help someone achieve financial gain? I'm just asking so please, don't think of me as rude. I just don't know. Thanks.

Chris...thanks for your response. (For those who want to read it, see MY blog and the post around this date. Also, while you're there, you can read my neglected blog and maybe comment on its content...such a novel idea)(hehe)

I am sorry for your son's blight and I will keep him in my prayers.

I should call you or Lacy someday because I have so many questions. My problem is that I'm not convinced that the Holy Bible is really the word of God. I say that because God comes in so many different beings...Buhdi, Alla, Johova...and who's to say who is right or wrong?

I believe in God and that goodness will prevail and I'd just like to leave it at that. I know in a battle of Bible/religion knowledge, I'm totally unarmed. So for all I know, I may be totally misguided. I guess the question is, can't we be a christian without being religious? Can we forgo the ritual? I've been to Catholic serves where the priest kisses the Bible, kisses his sash, kisses the pulpit and to me it seems so over the top. I've been to Baptist services where there's so much "Amen-ing" the service takes an extra hour. Aw...I just don't know. And there's the pro-choice questions and the gay marriage questions and all that. Sorry...I'm basically just thinking out loud (okay, that sounds silly since I'm writing this, but you know what I mean.)

Also, if you know Gary Isbell...he's a sweetheart. Tell him I said "Hey". Thanks. Eva

Hey I just read your answer to eva and I was really impressed! You didn't get all offended as some do and you pointed her to the only place she will get the Truth, the Bible. I am proud to have you as a cousin but more importantly as a brother in Christ!

So why did you "replace the electrical system"? Was it aluminum wiring?
